Murder of RSS activist; Police to go to TN, murder committed by a team from Coimbatore

PALAKKAD: The police as part of an investigation in connection with the murder of RSS activist Sanjith will go to Tamil Nadu. It has been indicated that one of the cars in which the miscreants fled after committing the crime, has entered Tamil Nadu. The probe will be conducted at the SDPI centers in Coimbatore.

It will be examined whether the murder was committed by a gang from Coimbatore. The investigating officials suspect that a team from Ukkadam and Karimpudaka are behind the incident.

Police said the murder was a planned one. Three people have been summoned for questioning in the case. Three people were questioned and released yesterday. The investigating officials said they had nothing to do with the case.

Sanjith was murdered on Monday morning at around 8.45 am near the national highway. The accused waited for about an hour and a half to kill Sanjith.
