Death of three including former Miss Kerala; hotel owner to be questioned again today

KOCHI: The police will question Roy Vayalat, owner of the hotel in Kochi, again today in connection with the death of three people including former Miss Kerala in an accident. He was asked to appear at the Palarivattom police station. Four hotel employees will also be questioned along with Roy.

The police had questioned Roy Vayalat yesterday. The police had asked Roy to produce the CCTV hard disks of the hotel, but he failed to produce it. The police directed him to produce the hidden hard disk. Police have warned that if not, a case will be registered for destroying evidence.

The accident happened on the Vyttila bypass on November 1st. The dead have been identified as Ancy Kabeer (25) former Miss Kerala and native of Attingal in Thiruvananthapuram, Anjana Shajan (24) former runner up of Miss Kerala and native of Thrissur and K A Mohammad Aashiq (25), son of Ashraf of Thrissur. The accident happened when they were returning after attending a DJ party in the hotel.
