Kerala records 3698 COVID-19 cases on Monday, 75 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 3698 COVID-19 cases on Monday. Among these, 3432 persons developed the disease through contact, including 238 cases without an identified source of infection. 15 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 13 health workers contracted the disease on Monday.

7515 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 54,091 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 75 deaths due to the virus on Monday with the toll rising to 37,675.

District wise breakup of positive cases:
Kozhikode 724, Ernakulam 622, Thiruvananthapuram 465, Kollam 348, Thrissur 247, Kottayam 228, Kannur 200, Malappuram 179, Idukki 162, Alappuzha 151, Wayanad 119, Palakkad 115, Pathanamthitta 110, Kasaragod 28.

45,190 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
