Appointment of VC in Kannur University; Black flags waved at CM

KANNUR: Black flags were waved at Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in connection with the appointment of vice-chancellor in the Kannur University. Youth Congress activists waved the black flags towards the chief minister who was on his way to the airport. The incident happened at Mambaram.
The chief minister left for the airport at 7 am from his house.
The protest was staged by a team led by Youth Congress activists Sudeep James, Kamaljith, Vineesh Chullyan, Prinil Mathukoth, Rijin Raj, Muhasin Keezhthally and Imran.
