Crisis within LJD; three including Sheikh P Harris quit party

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: LJD state secretaries Sheikh P Harris, Angathil Ajaykumar and Rajesh Prem have resigned from the party's primary membership, leading to a crisis in the party. According to reports, Surendran Pillai, who has extended support to Sheikh P Harris, will also resign soon. The state leadership has not yet commented on the resignation.

Shreyams Kumar and Sheikh P Harris represented the party at the LDF meeting. The problems within the party started last month. According to the rebel group, the party is witnessing the dictatorship of Shreyams Kumar. Meanwhile, MV Shreyams Kumar has initiated disciplinary action against Surendran Pillai and Sheikh P Harris for making a rebellious move against the leadership.
