Aneesh’s family levels serious allegations against Simon Lalan’s family

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The family of Aneesh George, stabbed to death yesterday, came forward levelling serious allegations against the accused. They said Lalan had previous enmity with Aneesh and his daughter had mentioned earlier that her father was a troublemaker. They said Aneesh was invited to their house and murdered.

Aneesh’s parents said that he wouldn’t have gone there without calling him. Simon was a constant troublemaker at home. His parents alleged that the girl and her mother had told them about it several times.

‘They called him. There is a problem at home, come home, we are in trouble. He may have gone there after that. He will not go without calling. The girl or her mother would have called him. Otherwise he wouldn’t have gone. Hundred percent he will not go,’ his parents said.

Aneesh was murdered Wednesday early morning. The accused told police that he stabbed him in self-defence mistaking him as a thief. The police have recorded the statements of Simon’s wife and daughter.
