'Five years into her fight for justice': WCC requests Chief Minister's intervention

WCC has once against sought CM's support in actress attack case. The victim had lodged a complaint with the DGP and the Chief Minister yesterday seeking an inquiry into director Balachandra Kumar's recent revelations against Dileep.

It was then that the WCC came to the scene with a request urging the Chief Minister to intervene to ensure a thorough investigation and a satisfactory trial for her struggle, which is entering its fifth year.

"A survivor's journey reveals much about the society and governing system around her. Five years into her fight for justice, the Survivor has now sought the Kerala Chief Minister's intervention for a thorough investigation and a fair trial. We urge the CM and Government to stand by the Survivor and ensure justice prevails. Stand with the Survivor", WCC said in its Facebook post. The post was shared with the #Avalkoppam hashtag.

Meanwhile, Dileep had also lodged a complaint with the DGP yesterday asking him to check the phone calls of the officer investigating the case.
