Actress attack case: Dileep might be questioned again, ADGP says all revelations will be probed

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: It has been reported that actor Dileep may be questioned again in the case of attacking the actress. It is learned that the decision was taken at a meeting of the Special Investigation Team headed by ADGP S Sreejith in Kochi. S Sreejith explained that the case will proceed as per the court order. He said that all the new revelations including that of the director will come under investigation.

Meanwhile, the confidential statement of director Balachandra Kumar, who made key revelations against Dileep, will be recorded on Wednesday. Balachandra Kumar's statement will be recorded by Ernakulam Judicial First Class Magistrate Court 2. The court has issued a summons to Balachandra Kumar. Director Balachandra Kumar has recently released audio recordings of people including actor Dileep trying to sabotage the case and obstruct the trial.

The prosecution estimates that this is crucial evidence in the case. Balachandra Kumar said that the investigation team has not yet got the memory card of the phone which recorded the attack on the actress. However, Balachandra Kumar reveals that Dileep saw the attack visuals and tried to influence the witnesses. There are audio recordings that prove both of these. After that, when Balachandrakumar called Dileep saying that these things would be released, the actor asked him not to do so and had come to see Balachandrakumar in Thiruvananthapuram. The director had released an audio message sent on WhatsApp as proof that. The trial court has directed that the report of further probe be handed over to the court before the 20th of this month.
