KOCHI: The high court expressed some suspicions in the case of conspiring to kill the investigating officers in the actress attack case. The court ruled that it was not enough to simply say that a person would be killed if he was to be charged with conspiracy and there should be an attempt from the part of the accused.

The court pointed that abetment and conspiracy do not go together. The government told the court that it was not said verbally and that there was crucial evidence against Dileep.

The court asked has any offence been charged against Dileep for destroying evidence in the case. The actor's response was that the case was not against him but against two lawyers and the court had acquitted them. Dileep claimed that he was charged with conspiracy without any evidence and that the story was fabricated by the police.
