Temporary halt to Governor-Government war, Arif Mohammad Khan returns as Chancellor, checks university files

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Governor Arif Mohammed Khan returned to the Chancellor post, after ending issues with the government. The Governor has started to check university files.

The Chief Minister had written to the Governor twice, before leaving for the US for treatment. Governor softened his stance after this. Governor publicly spoke against the government related to the reappointment of Kannur University VC and disagreement of Kerala University to grant D.Litt to the President. He refused to continue as the Chancellor due to political interference.
