Actress attack case: Forensic results of digital evidence obtained, last round of interrogation to be tightened

KOCHI: The forensic test results of the digital evidences in the actress attack case have been obtained. The digital evidence got during a recent raid on the house of Dileep and his brother Anoop, was sent for examination. ADGP Sreejith said more reports were yet to come.

The interrogation of Dileep and his co-accused in the case of conspiring to endanger the investigating officers, is continuing for the third day. The crime branch will be tightening the interrogation in the wake of the results obtained. The investigation team is summoning more people to the crime branch office as part of the interrogation. Director and Dileep's friend Vyasan Edavanakkad is being questioned. The court has given permission to question Dileep till 8 pm tonight. Meantime, the probe team has decided to take a final decision on Dileep's custody later in the day.

Director Rafi was summoned the other day for interrogation. Rafi identified Dileep's voice from the samples produced by Balachandra Kumar. The other friends of the accused would be summoned today to identify the voices.
