'Heard some doctors speaking against me'; Ganesh Kumar slams doctors' organizations in presence of Health Minister

PATHANAPURAM: MLA KB Ganesh Kumar was seen lashing out at the organizations of Ayurveda doctors during an event attended by Health Minister Veena George. Ganesh Kumar criticized the organizations while speaking at the inaugural function of the Thalavoor Government Ayurveda Hospital. The MLA also denied the doctors' allegations that poor-quality tiles were installed at the hospital.

"I heard some doctors speaking against me. Their allegation that poor-quality tiles were installed at the hospital is baseless. Everyone knows that I am a film actor. The tiles installed at the hospital are far superior to the tiles installed at my own house," Ganesh Kumar said. The MLA also denied the allegation that he had criticized the CMO.

A controversy had erupted over the MLA's surprise visit to the hospital. Following the visit, the MLA had reprimanded the staff and doctors by pointing out that the hospital and its surroundings were messy and untidy. A video of the incident had gone viral on social media.

Later, the organizations of Ayurveda doctors came up with a response to the MLA. The organizations said that there was no point in constructing the building and purchasing equipment if there were not enough staff to maintain the hospital.
