Priest arrested for sexually abusing minor during counselling

PATHANAMTHITTA: A priest has been arrested in a POCSO case. The arrested has been identified as Pondson John, priest attached to Orthodox Church at Koodal in Pathanamthitta. The complaint lodged with the police said the priest abused the 7-year-old girl sexually when she came for counselling. He was arrested following the complaint. The complaint was lodged by her teacher. The women police of Pathanamthitta arrested him from his house Thursday morning.
