IDUKKI: Another case has been registered against actor Joju George. The action is for conducting an off-road ride without permission. The ride was held at Vagamon in Idukki.

A case has been registered against the organisers, participants and the owner of the land. The action was taken on the basis of a complaint filed by KSU district president.

District president Tony Thomas had filed a complaint with the district collector, district police chief and district transport officer demanding that a case be filed against Joju and other organizers of the event for illegally organising an off-road jeep ride.

The ride was on Saturday at the Kannamkulam Arappukadu division of Vagamon M M J estate. The complaint alleged that the ride was illegally and dangerously organised without any security measures on the land meant only for agriculture purposes. The complaint also alleged that this is against the Plantation Land Rules.

The ride was organised by Javin Memorial UKO. Actor Binu Pappan was there with Joju.

Meantime, the Motor Vehicles Department has issued a notice to Joju George asking him to appear in person. The action is for rash driving.

Joju George took part in the ride with his Wrangler Jeep. The actor’s video cheering with joy after completing the ride had gone viral on social media.
