Sreenivasan murder: Police arrests owner of car that accompanied accused

PALAKKAD: The owner of the car that accompanied the gang that killed RSS leader Sreenivasan has been arrested. Nasser, a native of Keezhayoor, Pattambi, was arrested. The car was also used to deliver weapons to the killers. Police have found that Nasser is involved in the conspiracy. With Nasser's arrest, a total of 23 people have been arrested in connection with the case.

The car was also taken into police custody. Police found the red Swift car hidden behind Nasser's cousin's house. The weapon was taken in this car and handed over to the killers.

The two-wheelers on which the attackers were travelling were found earlier. One bike was found in a vehicle dismantling market in Pattambi and a bloodied bike was found on the banks of Bharathapuzha in Pallippuram in Pattambi.
