Govt action provides relief to vehicle owners; deadline for tax payment for stage carriages extended to June 30

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Transport Minister Antony Raju has announced that the deadline for payment of tax without fines for stage carriages in the first quarter of this financial year has been extended to June 30.
The minister said the deadline was extended given the crisis faced by vehicle owners due to rising fuel prices and the spread of Covid. Earlier, the last date to pay taxes without fines was fixed as May 15.
