Minnal Murali bags two awards at IWM Digital Awards

Malayalam movie Minnal Murali, starring Tovino Thomas, has won two awards at the IWM Digital Awards. IWM Digital Awards is the largest OTT Web Entertainment Award in India. Minnal Murali, directed by Basil Joseph, bagged the awards for Best Digital Film in Regional Language and Best VFX. It was director Basil Joseph himself who announced this on social media.

Minnal Murali, which was Basil's third film, got released on Netflix. The film was released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi languages and received recognition at the international level. The film got featured in the top ten on Netflix's Global list for three weeks in a row. Minnal Murali also found itself in the list of highest rated action-adventure films of 2021.
