Man and grandson die after lorry hits scooter

KANNUR: Two including a seven-year-old-boy died in an accident at Pallikkulam in Kannur. The dead has been identified as Mahesh Babu of Kombra Kavu in Edachery and his grandson Agneya. The accident happened after the lorry hit the back of the scooter that was going to Puthiyakavu from Kannur.

The tragic accident happened Friday morning at 10.45 am on the national highway. A lorry laden with gas cylinders hit the back of the scooter. In the impact of the hit, the two fell on the road and the lorry ran over the two. The two died in the spot itself.
