40 injured in collision of two tourist buses in Kozhikode

KOZHIKODE: Nearly forty persons were injured after two tourist buses collided at Chevarambalam. The bus going after a solidarity meet collided with the bus proceeding to Thirunelli. The incident happened Monday morning at 4 am.
The bus to Thirunelli overturned in the impact. There were forty people in this bus and more than twenty in the other bus. A total of forty sustained injuries. They have been admitted at Kozhikode Medical College. The condition of none is serious. Police said over speeding is the cause of the accident.
