Actress found dead in apartment, upset in relationship with lover

KOLKATA: An actress was found dead in her apartment. Bidisha De Majumda (21) was found dead at her apartment situated at Nagerbazar area in Dum Dum. The incident happened last evening.

The police have recovered a suicide note from the apartment. She was staying in the apartment since the last four months. She was found hanging when the police entered her house after breaking the door.

Bidisha, a known face in the modelling industry, made her acting debut in 2021 via a short film. Her friends alleged that there were some issues between her and her boyfriend Anubhab Bera and she was upset due to this and this may have led to the suicide. Her body has been sent for post-mortem and the police have started an investigation into the incident.
