Kerala state film awards: Revathy, Biju Menon and Joju George adjudged best actors, Awasavyuham is best film

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The 52nd Kerala state film awards have been announced. Biju Menon, Joju George and Revathy were adjudged the best actors. The awards were announced by Cultural Affairs Minister Saji Cherian.

A total of 142 films were considered. Two films were summoned again and seen by the jury. 29 films were shortlisted. The jury chairman is Bollywood director and script writer Akhtar Mirza.

Best actress-Revathy (Bhoothakalam)
Best actor-Biju Menon (Arkkariyam) and Joju George (Nayat, Madhuram and Freedom Fight)
Best film- Awasavyuham
Best director- Dileesh Pothen (Joji)
Second best film- Chavitttu, Nishidho
Supporting actor- Sumesh Moor (Kala)
Best supporting actress-Unni Maya Prasad (Joji)
Screen play- Awasavyuham
Screenplay (adaptation)-Shyam Pushkaran (Joji)
Female playback singer- Sithara Krishna Kumar (Pal Nilavin..)
Mala playback singer- Pradeep Kumar (Minnal Murali)
