Swapna Suresh had earlier said that she had received death threats after she started testifying against the Chief Minister and his daughter. "My family and I will be killed anytime. Those who are calling me are threatening me by revealing their name and address. I have lodged a complaint with the DGP last night regarding the threat messages. However, I don't know whether I'll get any help. A person named Naufal from Perinthalmanna said that he was calling as said by Jaleel. Another person named Maradu Aneesh also called and threatened me," Swapna said.
