Onam kit distribution about to reach 15 lakh, server glitch causes concern

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: More than 14.5 lakh ration card holders have received Onam kits distributed in the state(as of 6.45 pm yesterday). The distribution started in August 23. Due to server glitch, E-POS machine stopped working in several ration shops. The server became slow during 11 am-12 pm and 5 pm-7 pm. As per earlier schedule, free kits for yellow card holders is on August 23 and 24 and for pink card holders on August 25, 26 and 27. But Minister G R Anil informed that all categories of card holders can get the kits on these days as per the availability.
