Steel bomb hurled in Valayam in Kozhikode

KOZHIKODE: A bomb was hurled by unidentified persons at the OP Mukku in Nadapuram ring road. A steel bomb was hurled into a deserted lane on Friday night. The police said that the accused might have hurled the bomb to check the intensity.

A small crater formed at the site of the explosion. Valayam police reached the spot and conducted an investigation. Bomb squad experts will also conduct an inspection.
