Elsa Sabu elated after getting an unexpected chance to interact with Rahul

KOLLAM: Even famous Congress leaders in the state have not been lucky enough to share the stage with Rahul Gandhi. However, a 12th class student got that luck. Elsa Sabu, a native of Adichanallur and the head girl of Vimala Central School in Chathannoor, was lucky enough to pass all the safety standards. Rahul invited Elsa, to the stage and made her sit along with opposition leader V D Satheesan and him.

Rahul Gandhi was interacting with the selected students at the Chathannoor Empire Auditorium as part of the Bharat Jodo Yatra yesterday. Elsa was giving a welcome speech prior to the debate programme. Her seat was first in the second row of the audience. The organizers later gave her seat in the front row. When Elsa came down after her enthralling welcome speech, a leader occupied her chair. Without any worry, Elsa stood to the side. Seeing this, Rahul invited her to the stage and made her sit with them. Elsa was not in the list to ask questions to Rahul, but he gave her a special chance. The question was about loss of happiness in homes due to pressures. When she came out after the event, all the Congress leaders surrounded Elsa and took photos. Elsa is the daughter of Sabu Samuel, a Jacobite priest, and Eliamma.
