Eight Ayyappa devotees including child injured in accident

PATHANAMTHITTA: Eight including a child were injured in an accident while they were returning from Sabarimala. The Innova in which the devotees were traveling in collided with a mini lorry going towards Ranni. The accident took place at Mannarakulanji in Pathanamthitta around 1 am Sunday morning.

Seven including a child in the Innova and the lorry driver were injured. Initial reports said over speed was the cause of the accident. The injured have been admitted to Pathanamthitta district hospital.
