Husband hacks wife to death in Palakkad, daughter in serious condition

PALAKKAD: A woman was hacked to death by her husband at Ottapalam. The deceased is Rajni (38), a resident of Kothakurissi. Her husband Krishnadas (46) was taken into police custody. Their daughter Anagha was also injured in his attack. The incident took place around 2 am.

The accused hacked Rajini and Anagha while they were sleeping. Rajini died on the spot. According to reports, the condition of Anagha, who is undergoing treatment in the hospital, is critical. The motive for the murder is unclear. Neighbours said that Krishnadas was visibly disturbed for a few days.
