Popular Front planned to kill 380 in state, bigwigs and cops in hit list; vital information obtained from laptop

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Reports said Popular Front had planned to kill 380 people in the state. It is reported that there are prominent people and policemen in the hit list. Vital information was obtained from the laptop of Popular Front leaders arrested in the murder case of RSS leader Sreenivasan.

Popular Front Palakkad district secretary Aboobacker Siddique and Popular Front Tirur regional leader Sirajudeen were arrested last week in the murder case. The police had also seized their laptop. It is reported that vital information was obtained from it.

Pictures of 380 people including circle inspector and and civil police officers were found from Aboobacker Siddique’s laptop. A list of 378 people was also found from Sirajudeen. The police had handed over this information to the central agencies even before the NIA raid.
