Three drown to death in Kallar in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Three people died after being swept away by water in Kallar's Vattakayam. The deceased have been identified as Safan, Firoz and Jawad, natives of Bheemappally who came for a leisure trip. Two people were rescued by locals.

There was a woman and a child in the group. Ignoring the warnings, the gang took a bath in the river. They entered the waters by removing the barbed wire fence. Firoz is a policeman in the SAP camp and others are his relatives. The dead bodies are kept at Vithura Hospital.
