Life Mission case: CBI issues notice to M Sivashankar to appear for interrogation on Thursday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CBI has issued a notice asking M Sivashankar, former Principal Secretary to Chief Minister to appear for interrogation in Life Mission scam case. He has been directed to appear at the CBI office in Kochi at 10.30 am tomorrow.

The allegation against Sivashankar is that he has received crores as commission for giving a contract to construct a flat in Vadakkanchery under the Life Mission project. Swapna Suresh, the accused in the gold smuggling case had alleged that Sivashankar and UAE consulate officials had distributed the money among themselves. The CBI notice has been issued to Sivashankar in this regard. Swapna Suresh and Sandeep Nair are also accused in the Life Mission case.
