12 women go missing from Pathanamthitta in five years, incidents linked to human sacrifice? Re-investigation in missing cases

PATHANAMTHITTA: There will be a re-investigation in the missing cases of women in Pathanamthitta. Twelve women went missing from the district in five years. It will be investigated whether their missing is related to human sacrifice case.

Three women have gone missing from Aranmula station limits alone, which includes Elanthoor where the human sacrifice happened. Of that, the body of one woman was found. Thirteen missing cases were reported in Kochi city limits in five years. The police will investigate these cases in detail.

Shafi, the main accused in the Elanthoor human sacrifice case, has connections with the family of ayurvedic healer Bhagawal Singh for over two years. It is mainly examined whether Shafi had brought women here before in the same way.
