Jyothika to return to Malayalam after 12 years; Mammootty releases poster of new film 'Kaathal' 

South Indian actress Jyothika is all set to return to Malayalam cinema as Mammootty's heroine. She will be making her comeback after 12 years through the film 'Kaathal' directed by Jeo Baby. 'Kaathal' will be produced by Mammootty's production company 'MammoottyKampany'. As Jyothika celebrates her birthday today, Mammootty has posted the first-look poster of 'Kaathal' on Facebook wishing her a happy birthday.

Wayfarer Films, owned by Dulquer Salmaan, will distribute the movie. The poster is designed by Anthony Stephen. The film will also have Lalu Alex, Muthumani, Chinnu Chandini, Sudhi Kozhikode, Anagha Akku, Josie Sijo and Adarsh ​​Sukumaran appearing in important roles.

Adarsh ​​Sukumaran and Paulson Skaria are scripting the film. The shooting of 'Kaathal' will begin on October 20 in Kochi.
