MVD cancels fitness certificate of Kerala Blasters team bus, five violations found in inspection

KOCHI: The Motor Vehicle Department has taken action against the team bus of Kerala Blasters as they found five kinds of violations. The tyres of the bus were in a dangerous condition. The bus had a broken tyre and the tube was visible. MVD officials informed that the bonnet was damaged and there were no medicines in the first aid box. The rearview mirror of the bus was also broken. Blasters team had come to Panampilly Nagar for training in this bus. The officials came here and inspected the vehicle. MVD officials said that the fitness of the bus has been cancelled.

After the Vadakancherry accident, MVD has taken strict action against tourist buses in the state. Tourist buses and KSRTC buses were inspected and fined. The Motor vehicle department had pointed out that the stickers pasted on the team bus of Kerala Blasters as a serious lapse, but the bus authorities were not ready to solve the problems or meet the MVD officials, so this action was taken today. The owners were given 14 days to fix the problems with the bus.
