CHENNAI: The investigation team has received crucial evidence that confirms the blast in Coimbatore as a suicide attack. The police' suspicion strengthened after Mubeen posted a WhatsApp status similar to that of ISIS on the day before the blast.

'When you know the news of my death, you should forgive the mistakes and pardon. Should attend the funeral and pray,’ his status said. However, the investigation team has not released.

Jamisha Mubeen, a native of Ukkadam G M Nagar and an engineering graduate, who was killed in the blast, had the presence of chemicals that helped in burning in his body. This is also a reason for the police to suspect that the explosion was a suicide attack. Thirteen parts of his body where the presence of chemicals was found have been sent for special examination. The police clarified that it will be possible to confirm only after this.

It is also indicated that the police have received evidence confirming that the accused have planned massive explosions. In a search at Jamesha's house, some crucial documents were found. The document contained the names of some temples in the city and details of government institutions. About 75 kg of chemical compounds used for blasts were found from his house.
