Couple on bike attacked by elephant in Idukki

IDUKKI: A couple travelling on a bike was attacked by an elephant at Anakulam. The couple attacked has been identified as Johnny of Kuttipala and his wife Daisy. The two were thrown from the bike when the elephant toppled the vehicle. It was a narrow escape for the couple.

The incident happened Sunday morning at 7 am. The couple was going to the church. The elephant also tried to attack them after overturning the bike. When both of them shouted, the locals reached the spot. The couple sustained minor injuries. They have been admitted to Adimali Taluk Hospital.
