Son commits suicide after killing mother in Palakkad

PALAKKAD: A woman and her son were found dead in their house at Palappuram in Ottappalam. The two dead have been identified as Saraswathy Amma (68) and her son Vijayakrishnan (48). It is believed that after murdering his mother, Vijayakrishnan may have committed suicide.

Saraswathy Amma was found lying with deep cut injuries on her neck and her son was found hanging. The bodies were found Tuesday morning at 9 am in the bedroom. The police reached the spot and started an investigation.
