Mammootty expresses regret over his remarks on director Jude Anthany at movie event

Mammootty took to social media to express regret for allegedly 'body-shaming' director Jude Anthany at the trailer launch event of the film '2018' in what was a light-hearted moment. Jude Anthany himself brushed aside the accusations and came in support of Mammootty.

However, Mammootty wrote on Facebook that he regrets that he has annoyed some people with the words used in the excitement and that he will be more careful about his words in the future.

"I am sorry that some people were offended by the words used in the excitement praising director 'Jude Antony' at the trailer launch of the movie '2018' yesterday. I assure to be careful inorder to not repeat such things. Thanks to everyone who reminded me.", Mammootty wrote on Facebook.
