Same-sex marriages cannot be decided by two judges; it is against nation’s culture says BJP MP

NEW DELHI: BJP MP, Sushil Kumar Modi, said that same-sex marriage is against the culture the country. He was speaking at the Rajya Sabha representing Bihar, when he made this statement. He added that the legality of the same-sex marriage cannot be decided by two judges.

Sushil Kumar Modi said that some left-liberals are trying to legalize same-sex marriage. The judiciary should not give approval for it, which is against the culture of the country. He said that he is against same-sex marriages. This is not something that can be decided by two judges. There must be discussions in the society, the MP said.
