Two dead after car falls into lake in Malayattoor

KOCHI: Two people died after a car fell into a lake in Malayattoor. Sreenivasan, a native of Upputhara in Idukki, and Binu, a native of Murikassery, died. Akhil, who was in the car, escaped as he managed to get out of the car.

The accident took place in Manapattu Chira in Adivaram. Both those who died in the accident were employees of a private firm in Perumbavoor. The police said that they had come to see Nakshatra Thadakam (pool of stars).
