Kerala assembly library award to writer T Padmanabhan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Writer T Padmanabhan has been awarded for his comprehensive contribution to Malayalam literature by the 'Kerala Legislative Assembly International Book Festival' organized in connection with the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and the centenary celebrations of the Assembly Library. The award comprises one lakh rupees and a citation. He was selected by the jury consisting of Ashokan Charuvil (Chairman), Dr. George Onakoor and Legislative Assembly Secretary A.M. Basheer. The award will be presented by Chief Minister on January 9 at the inauguration of book festival.
