Two people arrested for circulating nude pictures of friend's wife on social media

ALAPPUZHA: Police have arrested two men for capturing and circulating nude pictures of a woman on social media. The arrested persons are Changanassery Kangazha native Siyad (35) and his friend Abdul Salam (39). The husband of the complainant is a friend of the first accused Siyad. He became close to the woman by taking advantage of his friendship with her husband.

The woman's husband had a fall out with the accused following a dispute. After this, the accused captured and circulated nude pictures of the woman through fake accounts on social media as an act of revenge. The woman later lodged a complaint with the Vallikkunnam police station in the incident. Following this, the police arrested Siyad and Abdul Salam.
