PESHAWAR: Crucial discovery in the explosion at police line mosque blast of Peshawar, Pakistan. The investigation team found the dismembered head of the Taliban terrorist who is believed to have carried out the blast. Peshawar police chief Mohammad Ijaz Khan
said that an investigation is being conducted into how the terrorist managed to bypass the heavy security system and reach the people who had gathered for prayers in the incident that left 93 people dead and 221 seriously injured.

Tehreek-e-Taliban-e-Pakistan(TTP), a banned organization in Pakistan, claimed responsibility for the blast. TTP responded that Monday's blast was an act of revenge for their brother's (Omar Khalid Khorasani) killing in Afghanistan last August.

It is reported that the Taliban terrorist may have entered in some official vehicle. On Monday afternoon, at 1.40 pm, when the suicide bomber exploded in the front row, the Zuhr prayer was being performed and the bomb squad and police team were present on the spot. In the incident, a part of the church collapsed. The dead and injured are members of the police force. The death toll is likely to rise. Last year too, TTP carried out blasts targeting security forces. 63 people died that day.
