Twisha went to terrace just before her death, her husband was later seen coming down with body: Crucial CCTV footage out

BHOPAL: Crucial CCTV footage has been released in the incident where a woman was found dead in her husband's house. The investigation team has recovered footage from the Katara Hills residence of 33-year-old Twisha Sharma of Noida. The CCTV footage shows Twisha going to the terrace of her house just before her death on May 12. About an hour later, her husband Samarth Singh and two others are seen coming down with her body and trying to give her artificial respiration.

With this, Twisha's family said that the in-laws' claim that she committed suicide inside the house has been refuted. After the footage from the terrace came out, Twisha's family has intensified the demand for a re-postmortem to find out whether her daughter was hanged or murdered on the terrace.

Meantime, the police have intensified the investigation into her husband, who went missing after the incident. The police have registered a case against him and his mother, retired judge Giribala Singh for dowry harassment and abetment to suicide. Giribala Singh was earlier granted bail by the court.

The bail application filed on behalf of Samarth alleged that Twisha was addicted to drugs. Giribala's bail application filed on behalf of her son says that Twisha used to get angry and her hands would tremble when she did not use drugs. A special investigation team has been formed to investigate the allegations. The preliminary autopsy report from AIIMS, Bhopal, said she died by hanging.

Twisha and Samarth met through a dating app in 2024. The two got married in December 2025. Twisha entered the modelling industry between 2009 and 2012. Twisha, who is also an MBA graduate, is former Miss Pune title winner. She has acted in several advertisements and Telugu films. Twisha was an employee of a private firm at the time of marriage. Samarth is a lawyer in the district court. Twisha's family alleged that their life was not very comfortable after marriage.
