Two youths killed in bike-lorry collision

PALAKKAD: Two youths were killed in an accident when their bike lost control and hit a lorry. The accident happened yesterday at Erimayur in Palakkad. The bike, which was coming from Kunissery, rammed into a lorry coming from the opposite direction. Eyewitnesses said the bike was speeding.

There were three on the bike. The bike passengers and natives of Kunissery identified as Subhash (19) and Ratheesh (21) were killed in the accident. Sukhil (18), who was with them, was seriously injured. Sukhil has been admitted to Thrissur Medical College Hospital. Subhash and Ratheesh died on the spot itself.
