SINGAPORE: Actor GP Ravi passed away in Singapore. He was active in the film industry during the 1960s and played lead roles in films such as Snapaka Yohannan and Snehaseema. In the mid-1960s, Ravi shifted to Singapore to pursue a career in business. He was also actively involved in the television serial industry there.
Ravi later returned to the Malayalam film industry, appearing in movies like Thuruppugulan (2006), Pattanathil Bhootham (2009), Love in Singapore, and IG.
Ravi was the son of Pulickal Gopalapilla and former Attingal Municipality Vice Chairperson Sharadamma. His siblings include Dr. Balakrishnan, Sukumari Nair, and the late GP Rajan, GP Raghu, and GP Radhakrishnan.
