Actress Andrea Jeremiah has shared her experiences from her latest film Pisasu 2. The movie is the sequel to Pisasu, directed by Mysskin and released in 2014. Mysskin is directing the second part as well. Earlier, there were reports that the film contains nude scenes. Andrea has now responded to those rumours. Speaking in an interview, she said that while the film has scenes related to sexuality and intimacy, there are no nude scenes.
"Mysskin wrote Pisasu 2 with a woman as the central character. He is not a newcomer; he is an experienced filmmaker. He did not write those scenes because he had no other choice. It was a deliberate creative decision. If a director asks me to do something for the film, I will have to trust his vision," Andrea said.
"The original script he wrote did have some nude scenes in it. However, during filming, the director himself removed them for various reasons. The movie does contain many scenes dealing with sexuality, but none involving nudity," she said.
The first part, Pisasu, starred Naga and Prayaga Martin in lead roles and was a major hit. Due to legal issues, the release of Pisasu 2 has been delayed.
