MUMBAI: Suhani Bhatnagar, known for her role as Aamir Khan’s daughter in Bollywood superhit Dangal, passed away on Saturday. She was 19. Suhani portrayed Babita Phogat's childhood in the film.
The reason for her death remains ambiguous at this hour, however, sources report that she has been undergoing treatment at AIIMS for a long. Some sources report the cause of death as the adverse effect of the medicine taken in connection with the treatment. The family confirmed that the last rites will be performed at Ajronda Crematorium in Faridabad.
Aamir Khan's office expressed condolences on the death of the young actor. 'The news of Suhani's death is deeply saddening. Condolences to the family. She was a very talented child. Dangal would not have been complete without Suhani' - Aamir's team posted on social media.
Suhani made her film debut in 2016 with Dangal directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film was produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions. After Dangal, Suhani took a break from films to pursue her studies.
