'Don't drag my innocent husband into this'; Neha Kakkar breaks silence on rumours

MUMBAI: Bollywood singer Neha Kakkar recently announced that she would take a break from her career. The announcement came after she faced severe criticism and trolls on social media for her song Candy Shop. Rumours were also circulating that Neha was planning to separate from her husband Rohanpreet. Now, Neha Kakkar has responded to all those rumours.

Neha requested that her husband or family not be dragged into this issue.

'Please do not drag my innocent husband or my beloved family into this. They are the purest people I know. The heights I have reached today are due to their support. It is some other people and systems that are making me uncomfortable. I hope my husband and family are allowed to stay out of all this,' Neha wrote on Instagram.

The singer added that she is going through a bit of an emotional phase and does not want to talk about her personal life. Neha Kakkar hinted that she would make a return soon.
