'Got married to Pak cricketer Abdul Razzaq some years ago...'; Tamannah responds

Gossips about celebrities’ relationships and marriages are common, and actress Tamannaah Bhatia has also been a target of such rumours. One of the most widely circulated claims was that she had married former Pakistan cricketer Abdul Razzaq. This gossip first surfaced in 2020.

Years later, the actress has now responded to the rumour. Tamannaah explained that she had only met Abdul Razzaq during the inauguration of a jewellery store, and that brief meeting might have fueled the baseless speculation.

“According to the internet, I married Abdul Razzaq some time ago. I’m sorry, sir, you already have two or three children. I don’t know anything about your personal life, but this rumour was extremely embarrassing,” she said jokingly.

This is not the only rumour she faced. There were earlier speculations linking her romantically to Indian cricketer Virat Kohli as well. However, Tamannaah had clarified at the time that she had met Kohli only once and found such gossip embarrassing.

The actress added that her experiences have taught her how to handle such challenges. “As an actor, it is important to know what the audience thinks about my performances. But this is entirely different and very private,” she said.
