Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu's marriage to former Danish badminton player Matthias Boe was a big talk in the film industry. Now, the actress has opened up about her marriage and her partner. The actress says that marriage has not brought any major changes in her life and that she is still the same old Taapsee. Taapsee opened up about her married life in a chat with Shubhankar Mishra.
Taapsee shared that she has been in a relationship with Mathias for 13 years and that their life together is simple and uncomplicated. She explained that her only condition for marriage was that her life and character should continue as before, and she often forgets she is married because her husband has never made her feel the "burden of a relationship"
Taapsee jokingly remarked that she had initially “planned and plotted” to make a foreigner fall in love with her and move to India. The actress explained that while sustaining a relationship across countries (Denmark and India) was not easy, they were realistic and only formalised the marriage once they were confident the bond had long-term potential.
Taapsee had a court marriage in December 2023, followed by celebrations in Udaipur, Rajasthan, in March 2024. The festivities in March were an intimate affair, described as a mix of both Sikh and Christian rituals. The ceremony was attended only by close friends and family, with limited celebrity guests such as Anurag Kashyap, Pavail Gulati, and Kanika Dhillon.
Taapsee's latest film is ASSI, a courtroom drama directed by Anubhav Sinha. The film, which also stars Kani Kusruti, Revathy, and Manoj Pahwa, released in theaters on February 20, 2026.
